watching the news this morning, awesome lady was talking about co-accountability and co-responsibility. to be honest, i thought this was a genius way of thinking if we ever want this country to go somewhere.

co-accountability and co-responsibility means that if you smoke 10 boxes a day, get lung cancer, and run to the lung center of the philippines to use government money for treatment, then please take some freaking responsibility. not saying the government is perfect and all-providing but when are we going to stop making a "yaya*" out of the system. it's so immature. how long have we been celebrating our independence yet when something goes batshit wrong, we blame the government. one baranggay drowns in flood? blame the government. no one bothered to blame that one guy who threw his one week's worth of trash in the fucking gutter where it doesn't belong. multiply the culprit to one household member in the whole baranggay. there you go, folks. it's how you get your streets flooded.
